The importance of school uniform

School uniforms give learners a sense of belonging to a particular school and create identity for the school in the community.

Boys

Coloured or dyed hair is not permitted.
Girls’ braids must match their natural hair colour.
Girls’ hair must be neatly plaited and tied with white/black or navy blue ribbons or pompoms.
Navy blue or black Alice bands or headbands can also be worn.

Jewelery

No jewellery must be worn at school. Only small gold/silver studs for girls
Only medic alert discs and watches are allowed.
No nail polish, make-up must be worn during school times and on Civvies days.
Learners need to dress neatly and appropriately on Civvies days. No revealing clothes will be allowed.
